A swarm of bees.

On August 3rd a swarm of bees caused terror in the Market Place in Market Lavington.

The swarm took up residence in a small oak tree which is planted right in the middle of the village centre’s main parking area.

Malcolm was on hand to record the scene for posterity – thanks Malcolm.

Just a small part of the swarm of bees in Market Lavington Market Place

Can anyone tell us who removed the swarm which, of course, represents a real bonus to a bee keeper?

Also, can we take this oppoprtunity to remind locals that we are keen to collect photos of wild life in the village in these early years of the 21st century,
