A young gentleman
Work goes on to try to identify many photos which have been given to our museum in the past with no adequate labelling of any kind. Here is one such photo. It was found in an envelope labelled Easterton which contains photos of that parish but also quite a few which are of Market Lavington.
We have no idea who the young man is
Maybe the cap he holds contains a clue for it has a definite motif above the peak.
It appears to be a rope and anchor – a common nautical thing so it may just be part of a young lad’s sailor suit.
If you have any ideas do get in touch.
