Inside Market Lavington Manor – 1907
We know that Madame de Lavalette (owner of Madame de Lavalette’s Car) rented the Manor House, built in 1865. It was let furnished. according to Jack Welch’s village history . However, at the museum, we have a sales catalogue showing that the furnishings were up for sale on six dates in December 1907. This brochure allows us to see inside the manor house and view the furniture.
